        Family Safari – Quick Stop


        The safari jeep pulls over near a giant tree. Everyone gets out to stretch and grab a snack. The kids wander around, curious and full of energy. Parents enjoy the shade and take a few photos. It’s a short break before the next part of the drive. The air is warm, the view wide and wild. A few birds call from the branches above. Then it’s back into the jeep

        ready for more adventure!

      • Southern Circuit

        The south of Tanzania is mostly a destination for the second-time visitor. The southern circuit includes parks and reserves that can be visited using Dar es Salaam as a starting point. The Saadani National Park north of Dar, then two hours to the west the little park of Mikumi. The Selous Game Reserve to the south of Mikumi is great for river experiences on the Rufiji River and also for walking safaris. Udzungwa Mountains National Park is all about forests, waterfalls and weird endemics.

      • Northern Circuit

        The well established Northern Circuit safari of northern Tanzania offers some of the world’s most diverse safari experiences, consisting of National Parks, game reserves, conservation areas and private concessions. Among these are the world-famous and iconic Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, and of course their less well-known neighbours, Tarangire National Park and Lake Manyara National Park.

      • Western Circuit

        The Western Circuit embraces the parks along Lake Tanganyika, the western border of Tanzania. Gombe Stream National Park was made famous by Jane Goodall’s research on its chimpanzee population and subsequent habituation. Mahale Mountains National Park further south, on the shores of the clear waters of Lake Tanganyika, is a more authentic chimpanzee experience and highly recommended.
